Have you ever wanted to get out of your element, visit a new culture, lay on a hammock by the ocean or sing your heart out on the beach at sunset?
We have an incredible opportunity for you to recharge your batteries, connect to your soul, enjoy the warm water of the south pacific and SING with Face Vocal Band’s, Cody Qualls, in Samara, COSTA RICA!
YES! You will sing in lush rain forest trees and on the beach with the background of ocean waves as Cody leads you and group of acapella singers through a fun and inspiring musical experience.
This is a dive into local culture as Cody partners with Tico Mae Retreats. James Flores, owner of Tico Mae Retreats, is born and raised in the quaint town of Samara, Costa Rica. He is a head surf coach and teaches surfing to all ages. He loves to bring people into experiencing Samara from a local perspective. Once you know James, you are family!
Samara is located in the Nicoya Peninsula, which is one of the 5 Blue Zones in the world. People live to be 90 and over a 100 years old in the Blue Zones due to fresh water, nutrient dense soil, pure food and way of life. These “zones” are: Ikaria (Greece), Okinawa (Japan), Ogliastra (Sardinia), Loma Linda (California) and Nicoya Peninsula (Costa Rica). People in these Zones live the longest and happiest lives!
Playa Samara is a beautiful bay perfect for beginner surfing, swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding and even fishing, if that floats your boat. The town of Samara maintains its local flair with Tico style cuisine and a mix of European restaurants. Unlike the more popular towns of Nosara and Tamarindo, Samara’s main tourism comes from Italy, Germany, France, Canada and Switzerland, so it is usual to hear a variety of languages spoken in Samara!
Each day you will have a group singing class with Cody and an opportunity to surf, boogie board or enjoy a smoothie, lay in a hammock and relax at the ocean front property of Tico Mae Surf Shop.
